Quick Tip–Eat smaller meals if you feel sluggish and have low energy.

Consuming a large meal can make you feel sluggish. The sudden raise and fall in your blood sugar after eating a heavy, carb-laden meal will leave you feeling sluggish and depleted. To avoid the crash and burn feeling after eating a heavy meal, eat smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day to give you sustained energy.  Whenever possible avoid processed foods. Instead, opt for whole foods:  lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
