Breast Cancer Awareness 2015: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Smoking

We know that smoking increases the risk for many types of cancer, including cancers of the lung, bladder, kidneys and pancreas. The link between smoking and breast cancer has not yet been well defined.  The medical study discussed in this news piece suggests that women who smoke and have breast cancer are 3X more likely to die of breast cancer compared to women who don’t smoke.
